Monthly Archives: February 2010 Jacques & Diana’s wedding featured two of the three hottest towns in South Africa on Saturday. The ceremony was in Paarl at 45C and the reception in Wellington at 46C. I think you will forgive me when I say we must have the hottest couple & wedding pictures of the weekend!! Burning to view these?  Since I have posted Rochelle’s email a couple of hours ago, I thought I’ll post a last thought for the day of the text I have JUST received from Ryan & Sachi (on honeymoon!).  I’ve recently received this lovely letter from Rochelle and thought I’ll share it with you as a wee bit of Peartree Testimonial.  We are proud to say that the whole Peartree Photography website is now mobile / iPhone optimized.  As we started to drive to the first photo spot, Ryan told us how he was blown away when Sachi walked down the isle an hour earlier. Little did he know that this wouldn’t be the only blow away session of the day. I have officially never taken photos in such a windy environment! Sometimes I couldn’t keep my eyes open with of all the sand flying around. I would vaguely try to aim, close my eyes and shoot 8 frames a second …  Stunning! From the venue to the couple to the evening! The Helshoogte guys also made for a fun evening filled with balloons, singing, laughter and of course, dancing!  We’ve just received word that the above image took a Gold Award in a top UK competition! We are privileged to say that it is also the 2nd time this has been awarded to us by the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and like you can imagine, we are over the moon!  I have been editing like a maniac the past few weeks. Basically my days are spent in front of a computer where when you take a break, you quickly try and answer a few important emails. This the reality of being a professional photographer in the digital age. Anyway, as I have been editing,…  Loads of people literally rocked up for this wedding!
