Excited people in a funky setting; a 1787 stone timber shed built by the groom’s forefather; a wild & wet boat ride to a deserted island; a race against the sun to a National Reserve; a huge 15 liter, 20 year old personalised Lievland Cab as smooth as Indian silk and a party till the next morning … who said a wedding photographer has a mundane job?
No honestly, this has been amazing. I got to know Plettenberg Bay in a really special way, scouting for unique spots in and around town. It included a sunset run on a deserted beach with energetic assistant Brett the day before the wedding – thanks man. The Timber Shed built by Johann Jerling more than 230 years ago is a National Monument and it was really special to shoot Tobias (Jerling) in this historic place moments after he got married. Unfortunately the groom (really) ripped his trousers when he jumped on the boat to the island and we had to shoot carefully from then onwards!
But all turned out perfect at the end. I hope the pictures below and on the gallery tells the story. Dankie Tobias, Danicke en julle great familie en vriende. What a wedding!

Baie dankie vir die stunning foto’s van Tobias en Danicke se troue in Plettenbergbaai 20 Maart 2010. Ons is so tevrede en my kind blom behoorlik met wat ons sover gesien het. Baie dankie vir jul geduld , verdraagsaamheid, bystand en dat jul die humor in alle situasies raakgesien het. Jul was altyd daar , maar nooit “in our face” nie. Dankie vir ‘n wonderlike ervaring saam met julle !!!!

Danicke - Wil en Brett, ons foto’s is FANTASTIES!! Baie baie dankie, ek kon nie vir beter foto’s gevra het nie! Crystal is reg, foto’s was nog altyd vir my baie belangrik, en ek is soooo tevrede en gelukkig! Tobias en ons ouers ook!

crystal - dis absolutely amazing wat julle ge’capture’ het! ek het eintlik nie woorde om te beskryf hoe julle die dag justice gedoen het nie. Die emosie wat julle vas gevang het is perfek vir life long memories.
Danicke was nog altyd mal oor foto’s- sys altyd die een wat ons moments vas gevang het en ek weet hoe spesiaal hierdie vir haar gaan wees…
