Roger & Jacqui

Roger & Jacqui got married on the 30th of August 2008.  If anyone can remember, a massive storm hit the Cape Town this day.  Unfortunately, the couple and photographer (weren’t us) had no choice but to do their couple shoot indoors.  They still loved the photos, but of course it didn’t have the natural outdoors feeling they were after.  Well, not much you can do about it I suppose …

Wrong!  They have awesome friends that made a brilliant plan:  Let’s give them a Peartree couple shoot as a prezzie! I love it!

Previous Peartree couples Ross & Blythe, Ryan & Sachi + 2 other couples got together and blessed Roger & Jacqui out of their socks with this.  At first they wanted to keep it a surprise, but full calendars meant that it needed to be revealed and  we started planning the shoot.  As the two of them LOVE the outdoors, we thought this were finally our chance to get a couple deep into the Jonkershoek valley to shoot what we really love to do … absolutely NATURAL!  It was a perfect combination!

Any couple keen on the high mountain tops?  Let us know.  We are ready …

Roger & Jacqui - Hi Wil,

Thanks so much for an awesome adventure on Saturday. Jax and I both enjoyed meeting you and hanging out, and we had a special time together too.
Your photography is outstanding! We had fun browsing through the blog pics last night – the waterfall pics worked well, and we laughed at the one you got of Jax trying to stretch across the river in her skirt!
We had a great dinner with three of the couples involved in this little project, and will have to do it again sometime when you and Adri can join us.

I hope that Elih gets into a solid sleeping routine soon for you guys, and you get to catch up a bit of shut-eye in between your adventures! Bless you guys.090525 – 10:46

Susan Gray - Well done, you captured my friends perfectly, thank you for agreeing to do this… watching from Hawaii090525 – 07:27
