Jules & Chantal

Shofar Tygerberg pulled all their resources together and hosted a formal wedding ceremony for Rwandan couple, Jules & Chantal.   Everybody came to celebrate with them … and we were there to capture this truly special & proudly African wedding.

I will lie if I say it was easy.  According to the Rwandan custom, the bride is not allowed to look at the groom beforehand.  Nor is she allowed to smile.  It’s a bit difficult when you have to do the couple shoot before the ceremony … and only hear about this custom at the end of the evening! hehe!

Rwandan Wedding Photography is a wee bit different from South African Wedding Photography … and our natural style is probably the opposite!  But hey, what a day it was!  One to be remembered by all.

Well done Ross, Leani & the Tygerberg gang for the initiative!  It is inspiring!  Keep it up!
