The Green-Kalahari is a really special part of South Africa. The vastness, realness and freedom felt there reminds you that you are close to the borders of our mind blowing neighbouring countries. Brenda grew up in the region and wanted to get married where her roots lie. I remember meeting her with her mom and eldest sister in Stellenbosch to discuss the day. I couldn’t help to get excited about the kind of natural shots we would be able to create in the Northern Cape!
I loved the elements these winemakers imported to Naftali from the Cape: their own fantastic wines (Namaqua and Lutzville), the stylish chandeliers, fresh proteas, Robertson baristas (from Strictly Coffee), awesome guests and the photographer (of course!). I have to compliment Brenda for her eye of detail and great style. It was an honour to capture her hard work.
Well, it took 12 years for Koos and Brenda to finally say their vows. May the next 120 years be the best of your lives!
