Tom & Niki

I think everyone had to travel for this one.  Tom & Niki (and wee Campbell)  came all the way from Oz to the beautiful Askari Game Lodge in the Magaliesberg to tie the knot.  Except for the Joburg lot, I probably had one of the shortest journeys to get there.  But no matter how far or near we came, it was an awesome weekend for all to remember.

Thanks to Tom & Niki for braving the elephants in the long grass (and for the Askari staff making sure we don’t get trappled.  Don’t try this in your local zoo though!).   I love how it all worked out and feel immensely privileged to have had the opportunity to be part of this wedding.  Thanks to Nikki for the recommendation to your friends down under.  And thank you all for making me feel part of the chosen group.  It feels like I made a bunch of new friends from all over the world  in a stunning part of SA I haven’t been in.  Enjoy these as part of all our memories of this joyous celebration.  I love my job!

  • Susan Smith - The photography is absolutely beautifully orchestrated. I love the feminine and masculine poses of the elephants when bride and groom posed individually with them. As if part of the script. Clever ellies.

Thanks for sharing Fiona:) Quite a privilege to see.
