What a cool couple! Christopher and Karen are both South African but met one another in Amsterdam where they both worked.  They have since moved back to Cape Town to be closer to their family and SA friends.  And it is here at home where they wanted to get married.

These guys know what they want.  (Well, one of them at least 🙂  When we met, they shared their ideas of bringing a bit of the Dutch culture into the wedding.  Apart from beautiful tulips hanging from the roof, they decided that they want to cycle between the church and their favourite spot in Franschhoek – Akademie Street Boutique Hotel.   I loved the idea but didn’t realise how much rushing and running it would involve for the photographer 🙂  It was fun though and I am glad we all made it sweaty but in one piece.

The Conservatory never disappoints as a wedding venue.  When we arrived, everyone was having an amazing time around the outdoor lounge area.  A great sunset, mindblowing food, heartfelt speeches (just look at Karen’s reactions – priceless!) and DJ Chopper perfectly reading the dancing crowd like always, made for an unforgettable evening.

Thank you so much Mac & Karen, for this absolute privilege to be associated with these lekker memories.  I loved spending the day with you and your legend friends.  May we meet up soon again.  Enjoy!
