It sometimes happen that I meet a real popular couple so many times at other people’s weddings, that the couple and I feel extremely relaxed when it eventually comes to their own wedding day.  I sometimes even pre-shoot / practice taking photographs of them on the dance floor etc knowing their day will come soon.

Tinus & Sunandi are one of these couples and have been “practiced on” numerous times before.  It made the day so much more fun and really special.  Apart from making a great photo, I agree with the crowds (hehe!) that they really are a perfect match that I am sure I will be able to post-shoot again at many other weddings.  Ek hoop julle het ‘n great wittebrood en geniet mekaar (en die fotos!) baie.

Properties and Weddings have a few things in common.  Apart from them sometimes costing the same (!), the golden rule of “LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION” applies.  I will add however, that location is nothing without relation when it comes to the photos.  I always ask the couple if they are still in love, as this plays such a big role in the uniquely fresh Peartree Couple Shoot approach.  It just makes such a difference.  One that can be seen in the photos of Driaan & Carolina who got both these crucial areas right.  I decided to show you a bit more of their wedding to prove my point (and since some of you are too lazy to go and look at the rest of the photos on the Peartree website anyway

I just love these country side weddings!  The reception hall looked and smelled like a indoor rose garden, the farm house where Carolina got dressed was something out of this world and the couple roamed free in the most beautiful surroundings for their photo shoot.  Enjoy a short selection!

Hansie the Cat is part of the Basson Family of Breërivier.  Carolina told me how he must have sensed that something big was happening that day.  He woke her the morning of her wedding with a very special present – a freshly caught padda (frog)!!  Go Hansie!
