Liz and I go back many years. I used to know her and her family back in beautiful Scotland where I lived for a while around the turn of the century. She always was this energetic & friendly farm girl who had a willing heart to serve and care. How happy I was when she made contact after all these years with the good news that she had pursued a career as a veterinary surgeon. It suits her perfectly! Even better news was that she now had a family of her own with a beautiful daughter called Hope and husband Dave. (Best news, of course, is that Dave is originally South African! That means I might see them again .. and that he is ultimately cool of course :).
They came to visit and we set up an early morning shoot in Stellenbosch’s lovely Jan S Marais Park. I had the privilege to capture them with Dave’s mom in this special season of their lives. What a lovely family! Hope is such a bundle of joy and Dave a man to be proud of. I am so happy for you Liz!
May our paths cross again in the near future. It was lovely to catch up again. I wish you guys health, joy, growth and no lack in your life. Enjoy these images! Blessings.
