Will and Mia are one of those couples who will make it far together. They are sure who they are and doesn’t feel the need to explain that to others. They have achieved incredible things, been through a lot together and managed to find rest in each other that manifests in two humble and happy spirits that became one on Saturday. What a privilege it was to witness this union.
I only physically met this UK based couple as I walked in to photograph them. Will is this humble, genuine and extremely friendly bloke that couldn’t contain his excitement for the big day that finally arrived. Lovely Mia and I greeted one another with a warm hug and connected from the word go. I had to let her know that Will was wearing his old army regiment cufflinks that she bought for him as a gift. When she heard it, both she and the bridesmaids burst out in tears.
This is not my place to go into details about their difficult journey, many achievements and restorations along the way the past 9 years. All I can say is that their character speaks of growth, perseverance, strength and dreaming big dreams. Their ultimate dream became true over the weekend in one of their favourite places in the world, with their most special people surrounding them and a grateful & touched photographer to document this new reality for future generations.
Keep on dreaming big Will and Mia! May our paths continue to cross for years to come. It will be an immense privilege.
