Nooitgedacht Wedding Venue – Alan & Odilia

Even in 2017, the challenge remains to try and capture each couple as unique as they are.  I have shot at Nooitgedacht for years now, but am never disappointed with the options at this superb venue in my back garden.

Alan & Odilia are unique for sure.  They travelled from Ireland for their Irish-Portuguese-South African celebration.  They loved the heat and sun and threw a celebration everyone will remember.

We broke the couple shoot into two for the time balance and best light of the day.  I am so glad we managed to make it out before sunset.  The shots we got here are my favourites.  These two were rock stars and rose to the occasion.  It seems that Alan had an unfair advantage though.  This man is quite used to being in front of a camera.  He featured in the Irish tragicomic drama The Butcher Boy (trailer here) when he was younger.  His autographed picture even made it to the reception thanks to his best man Dave!

Thank you A&O for the awesome day with you.  A shout out to the following: Cara from Mosaic Weddings, White Lines Wedding Films and Ida Webster for the superb Hair & Make Up.

Enjoy!
