Vineyard Hotel Wedding Cape Town
They say he had a ponytail and eye ring when they met. Apparently, Andrew went to a concert with a buddy who then dropped him when a female needed a lift. Andrew was stuck between a bunch of people he didn’t know. Catherine, who played flute in the orchestra (she is a full-time flautist!) saw this lonely guy and offered him a lift home. They sort of became friends after that but he acknowledges that he didn’t know her name for about a year. When she got accepted for her Master’s Degree in Cardiff, Andrew knew he needed to make this official. And ask her name 🙂
I’ve seen Andrew & Catherine at numerous weddings before. Sometimes as guests, sometimes as a service provider, sometimes even as family (when Catherine’s sister got married and I had the privilege to document their wedding). What an immense privilege it was to capture their own wedding on such a beautiful day in Cape Town.
I really loved spending time with you all on Saturday. Thank you for all the friendly faces, positive attitudes and well, just for being lovely. The tremendous speeches, impeccable timing and scrumptious food made it all more a treat.
Well done to Neva and her team for the beautiful reception hall and all the other service providers involved. Wade’s Cakes, Capricorn Music, Vibrant Light videography, Pretty in Stains for the stationary, Palm Strings for the music and lastly, to Robyn and her excellent staff at the Vineyard Hotel – others can learn from you. It has been a privilege. Thank you.
Enjoy!
